WORLD LARGEST FLOWER   RAFFLESIA ARNOLDII

The flower with the world's largest bloom is the Rafflesia arnoldii. This rare flower is found in the rainforests of Indonesia. It can grow to be 3 feet across and weigh up to 15 pounds.The flower consists of 5 dark red, leathery petals with white spots surrounding a domed cavity, and a central column is covered by a disc of spines, the function of which is unknown.

The world’s tallest flower   is the Titan Arum (Amorphophallus titanium), about 10 feet (3 meters) tall fully-grown, also commonly referred to as the “corpse flower.
