Neethaane En Ponvasantham is a forthcoming Tamil romance film written and directed by Gautham Menon, featuring Jiiva and Samantha in the lead roles.The venture is produced by Kumar and Jayaram of RS Infotainment and will have cinematography by M. S. Prabhu. The film, which is being simultaneously shot in Telugu and Hindi, is likely to be released on 14 February 2012, coinciding with Valentine's Day.
The film has also been officially announced in Telugu with Ram playing protagonist, and Samantha again as the heroine. The film is titled 'Nithya', after her character, in the Telugu version
